Minister of Economic & Tourism Affairs, Telecommunications & Transport Franklin Meyers and Bureau of Telecommunications and Post Sint Maarten (BTP-SXM) director Peggy Ann Brandon launched Sint Maarten's new top-level internet domain, .sx this week, The Daily Herald reports, bringing to an end a process previously described as ‘impossible to achieve’ by Meyers. Although .sm was Sint Maarten's preferred domain, it had already been assigned to San Marino.
