NBN Co outlines rollout plans for next three-year period

Construction of the fibre-optic component of Australia’s National Broadband Network (NBN) will be underway or completed in around a third of the country over the next three years, it has been announced. NBN Co, the public-private company overseeing the rollout and management of the superfast broadband network, has released its first three-year rollout schedule for the project, in which it has confirmed that areas covering approximately 3.5 million premises across 1,500 communities in every state and territory in Australia will be included in the first phase.
