Orange may block Free roaming traffic to ease peak-time congestion

Orange France is threatening to cut mobile network access for customers of roaming partner Free Mobile at peak times to avoid network congestion. Low-cost operator Free Mobile launched France’s fourth cellular network in January and has signed a wholesale roaming deal with Orange to allow it to offer nationwide coverage while it deploys its own infrastructure.
