Brazilian telecoms operator TIM Brasil has selected Amdocs to supply it with its Customer Experience Systems (CES) product portfolio, as well as providing consulting, integration and implementation support for its new residential broadband service – branded ‘TIM Fiber’. Under the deal, the vender will provide TIM Brasil with the necessary business support systems (BSS) and operational support systems (OSS) required to deliver its new services. Amdocs will also support the telco in terms of the business-process consulting it needs to integrate the network assets of AES Atimus – the operation it acquired last year – as it looks to begin delivering broadband services within the next weeks/months.
