Citing data produced by local telecoms regulator Comision Federal de Telecomunicaciones (Cofetel), Telefonica Mexico noted that it has the highest percentage of completed calls of all the nation’s mobile operators. Operating in the mobile sector using the Movistar brand, the company highlighted the fact that, alongside completing 99.18% of calls, it was the only cellco which guaranteed 100% delivery of SMS messages, while also boasting the shortest average time for delivery. Meanwhile, alongside reiterating Cofetel’s findings, Telefonica Mexico took the opportunity to relay details on the status of its mobile infrastructure, as well as the future plans for its development
