Google Fiber confirms 180 ‘fiberhoods’ are eligible for connection in Kansas

Google Fiber, the project to build an experimental 1Gbps fibre-optic broadband network in Kansas City, has confirmed that at least 180 of 202 would-be ‘fiberhoods’ in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri have qualified to receive connectivity to Google Inc’s high speed fibre-optic network.
