3 Denmark plans 4G switch-on

Danish cellular operator 3 Denmark has revealed that it plans to switch on its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network on 28 September. The firm will at the same time begin selling the new iPhone 5 handset. At launch, 3 Denmark’s 1800MHz and 2600MHz LTE networks will cover 37% of the population, Telecompaper reports, with coverage increasing to 50% by the end of the year
