15 3G application forms issued

A total of 15 application forms have been issued to companies interested in Thailand's upcoming third-generation (3G) 2100MHz mobile licence auction scheduled for 16 October, reports the Bangkok Post. The forms are available until 27 September, with applications due in the next day, and the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) will announce qualified bidders on 10 October. Representatives of all 15 companies attended the 3G information session held yesterday by the NBTC, namely: Jasmine International, Jasmine Telecom System, BB Connect, Jaya Soft Version, Victory Motor, Cable Thai Holding, ACT Mobile (a unit of state-run telco TOT), three subsidiaries of Advanced Info Service (AIS), two subsidiaries of Total Access Communication (DTAC) and three subsidiaries of True Corporation.
