Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco) has begun offering cloud-based software as a service (SaaS), under the ‘IMaaS’ banner, which it claims provides an IT infrastructure management solution aimed at organisations of any size, enabling the streamlining of collaborative business IT processes from a single, unified portal that can be mapped to any third party application. Rashid Abdulla, Batelco’s CEO, said of the IMaaS solution: ‘The user friendly platform helps demystify complex IT data, resulting in solid decision making capabilities that work to drive profit margins up.’
