TU SR launches tenders for FWA concessions

The Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TU SR) has launched tenders for the allocation of frequencies in the 10GHz band for the establishment and operation of fixed wireless access (FWA) networks in ten localities. The locations are Detva, Ilava, Partizanske, Poprad, Prievidza, Ruzomberok, Spisska Nova Ves, Topolcany, TrencĂ­n and Zlate Moravce. In a statement on its website, the regulator specified that there would be a minimum one-off payment of EUR665 (USD859) for the assignment of a frequency block, with multiple blocks available in the different locations
