ETECSA calls for subscribers to update fixed line contracts

Cuba’s state-owned telecoms monopoly Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba (ETECSA) has given its residential fixed telephony subscribers until the end of September 2013 to update their contracts in line with new legislation, Cubasi.cu reports. Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) Resolution 82 of 25 May 2012 amends the conditions under which ETECSA fixed telephony users can transfer ownership of their landline connection
