The Middle Eastern undersea cable network operator Gulf Bridge International (GBI) has signed a capacity sale agreement with Kuwaiti wireless internet provider Mada Communications. Ahmed Ibraheem, chairman of the board of Mada Communications, commented: ‘This agreement … reflects Mada Communications’ dedication in providing the latest technology to its consumer base.’ Launched three months ago, the GBI cable system connects all the Gulf countries with onward connectivity to Europe and Asia.
