Joao Batista de Rezende, the president of Brazil’s national telecoms regulator Anatel, says the country is preparing to launch three separate auctions of wireless spectrum next year, to meet rising demand for data hungry mobile phone services. Bloomberg quotes Rezende as saying that the country’s leading players are already lining up to participate.
