KT Corp, South Korea’s second largest mobile network operator in terms of subscribers, has encountered yet another roadblock in its efforts to free up spectrum currently used for its second-generation services for the provision of 4G services. According to the Korea Herald, on the back of a petition by a number of the cellco’s remaining 2G subscribers, the Seoul Administrative Court has issued an injunction suspending the ruling made by the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) that approved the 2G shutdown.
