Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has said it is not ready to withdraw its case against Norwegian telecoms giant Telenor, regarding its controversial stake increase in Amsterdam-based group Vimpelcom, Bloomberg reports. Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman’s Altimo vehicle, which currently owns a 40.5% stake in Vimpelcom Group, complained to the FAS, after Telenor bought an 11.3% stake in the firm from Egyptian billionaire Naquib Sawiris’s Weather Investments II in February 2012
