Russian WiMAX-turned-Long Term Evolution (LTE) operator Scartel (Yota) has indicated that it plans to switch on its new 4G network in Ufa, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Bashkortostan, on 28 July. Prime Tass business news agency reports that Yota has rolled out 140 LTE base stations across the city, which it believes will provide adequate 4G coverage to the city’s residents
