The government of Antigua and Barbuda is considering becoming a member of the regional telecoms watchdog the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL), which currently comprises five nations – the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
