India’s Bharti Airtel group has added to its pan-African footprint with the launch of its new network in Rwanda, marking its seventeenth operation in Africa. Airtel has joined MTN and Millicom (Tigo) in the Rwandan mobile market, and says it plans to invest USD100 million over the next three years to build a nationwide 2G/3G network
